Circulon Total Food Release System

Ever since Circulon introduced the world to hard anodised nonstick cookware more than 30 years ago, it has continued to push the envelope in cookware technology and engineering. The result?  Time-saving cooking solutions of stunning quality and unparalleled durability.

Circulon features a relaxed hi-low wave technology with the most advanced nonstick coating available.

Food cooks (and releases) on the entire surface of the pan, but raised circles (the “Hi” area) allow a fraction of the cooking surface to take the abuse of utensils, protecting the majority of the cooking surface (the “Low” area) from abrasion. The result? Unparalleled cooking performance and nonstick durability.

Unlike ordinary hard-anodised pans, Circulon features a nonstick exterior, thanks to its proprietary technology that applies the nonstick coating to both the inside and the outside of the pan.  Not only does this make clean up a breeze, but it also means that the pan also won’t stain, scratch or chip (thanks to the hard-anodising process) and that your Circulon cookware will look beautiful for years to come.

Total non stick system

Is nonstick toxic?

Circulon is dedicated to helping consumers lead a healthier lifestyle through fat-free healthy cooking.  The Circulon TOTAL® nonstick system is completely safe and non- toxic.

Regulatory agencies worldwide have concluded that PTFE nonstick manufactured without the use of the component called PFOA is not a risk to consumers.

TOTAL® nonstick coatings are completely PFOA free. The manufacturer of the nonstick coating on Circulon only use nonstick technologies to make PTFE nonstick without PFOA.

PTFE is short for polytetrafluoroethylene, which is a slippery, tough and non-flammable synthetic material known as the nonstick coating on a pan. PFOA is short for perfluorooctanoic acid, a synthetic chemical compound that, in the past, was used as a component of PTFE.

Circulon's TOTAL® nonstick coatings are formulated to resist peeling or chipping with normal use.  However, in the event that particles of  the nonstick are accidently eaten, there is no cause for concern. Circulon TOTAL® nonstick system is non-toxic and inert. If accidently eaten, the nonstick particles will pass directly through the body and will not be absorbed.

PTFE nonstick coatings have been in the market for over 7 decades with a superb record of consumer safety.
